Last Video Project: La Salle Service

This is my final multimedia project that will be posted on my blog. It is all about the service we do at La Salle. This service takes place all year long. Most of this service happens during the school year, including  
La Salle Academy Tutoring and Elder Share. La Salle Academy Tutoring is when students travel down to Philly to tutor young children and Elder Share is when student go to a retirement home and play bingo with the residents. Service also is continued throughout the summer. One service project that I'm doing during the summer is Urban Immersion in Philadelphia, which is when we stay in Philadelphia for a week and do many different service projects.

Sports Illustrated: Lesean Mccoy

       This is my fourth assignment in my Multimedia Productions class. In this assignment we were to use Photoshop to create our own magazine cover, based off of on that was already made. I choose to do this cover because the Philadelphia Eagles are my favorite football team, and Lesean Mccoy is my favorite player. Also, I choose to create another Sports Illustrated Magazine cover because it is the only magazine that I read.
      In order to create this magazine cover, I saved the Eagles football field to my flash drive, opened it up in Photoshop, then dragged it onto the cover, making it my background. This was after I used the magic wand tool to delete the white background I started out with. Then I dragged in my picture of Lesean Mccoy, and used my eraser tool to get rid of/erase the part of the picture I did not need. Next, I found a picture of a Sports Illustrated cover, and used the rectangular marquee too to select only the words. After selecting the words, I copied and pasted it onto my cover, and placed it just under my picture of Lesean Mccoy. Then I found a picture of Claude Giroux and Danny Briere and used the eraser tool to touch it up. Finally, I used the text tool to apply some captions on my cover.

Hello, I'm Anthony Ciliberto. I'm a sophmore at La Salle College High School and this is my first video blog. I'm 15 years old and I play CYO basketball for Saint Catherine of Siena. Go Cougars! Also, my favorite football team is the Pittsburgh Steelers. On this blog I will post all of my Multimedia Productions projects and some new videos we make in class.
